The Impact of Organizational and Management variables on the Performance of Sidama Bunna Football Club

Resumen

Este estudio investiga la influencia de los factores organizativos y de gestión en el desempeño del Sidama Bunna Football Club, empleando un diseño de encuesta transversal. En la investigación participaron 44 participantes, incluidos jugadores, entrenadores, directivos y miembros de la junta directiva, seleccionados mediante un muestreo exhaustivo. El análisis de datos utilizó correlación de Pearson y regresión múltiple con un nivel de significancia de 0,05.

Los resultados revelan correlaciones positivas significativas entre el desempeño del club y variables como factores estratégicos (r=0,788, p<0,001), comunicación (r=0,779, p<0,001), recursos humanos (r=0,774, p<0,01), recursos materiales (r=0,697, p<0,01) y finanzas (r=0,765, p<0,001). Por el contrario, la estructura del club (r=0,263, p>0,05) no mostró una relación significativa con el rendimiento. El análisis de regresión demuestra que los factores estratégicos y las finanzas son predictores críticos, y R² indica que el modelo combinado explica el 79,4% de la variación del desempeño. Los resultados de ANOVA (F (6,37) =23,745, p<0,001) refuerzan la importancia de estos factores.

La planificación estratégica y la estabilidad financiera surgieron como contribuyentes dominantes al desempeño, eclipsando la comunicación, los recursos humanos y los recursos materiales en el modelo combinado. Los hallazgos subrayan la importancia de estrategias integradas que prioricen sistemas financieros sólidos y alineación estratégica para mejorar los resultados de los clubes.

Esta investigación contribuye a comprender la gestión deportiva en el fútbol etíope, destacando áreas que requieren mejora organizativa y asignación de recursos. Se recomiendan estudios futuros para explorar los impactos longitudinales y análisis comparativos entre regiones para proporcionar conocimientos más amplios sobre las mejores prácticas. El caso del Sidama Bunna Football Club ilustra la necesidad de adoptar enfoques de gestión integrales para lograr un éxito sostenido en entornos competitivos.
