Explorando los determinantes sociales de la salud y su influencia en la calidad de vida y el bienestar social en Indonesia: una revisión exhaustiva

Resumen

Introducción: Esta investi-gación examina los deter-minantes sociales de la salud en Indonesia, con especial atención a cómo las desigualdades socio-económicas afectan la salud pública y el bienestar social.
Objetivo: El objetivo prin-cipal es explorar cómo los determinantes (por ejem-plo, educación, ingresos, acceso a servicios de salud, así como las condiciones ambientales) influyen en la calidad de vida y el bienes-tar social entre distintos grupos de población en Indonesia.
Metodología: Se utilizó un enfoque de revisión de alcance para evaluar la base de evidencia, a través de revistas revisadas por pares, documentos de políticas gubernamentales y fuentes de medios de comunicación reputables publicadas en los últimos cinco años. Se utilizó tanto el análisis cualitativo como el cuantitativo del conteni-do.
Discusión: El estatus so-cioeconómico/pobreza, el aislamiento geográfico y las disparidades educati-vas se encuentran como barreras importantes para el acceso y los resultados de la atención médica. Las comunidades rurales tie-nen una pobreza aún más baja; aún menos acceso a las instalaciones de aten-ción médica; y menos infraestructuras, agravadas por las disparidades en salud. Además, la mala incorporación de la salud mental en la política de salud pública es una bre-cha significativa.
Conclusión: Abordar los problemas multidimensio-nales de los determinantes sociales es necesario para lograr la equidad en salud en Indonesia. Los respon-sables de políticas deben invertir en intervenciones adaptadas a contextos particulares, especialmen-te en áreas rurales, y cen-tradas en la educación, el acceso a la atención médi-ca, el desarrollo de infraes-tructuras y la integración de la salud mental.
