10 minutos de intervalo de descanso como la mejor estrategia para la preactivación del rendimiento en press de banca entre grupos con diferentes niveles de fuerza muscular: un estudio transversal.

Resumen

Introducción: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comparar el efecto de la preactivación (PA) en diferentes intervalos de descanso (IR) sobre el rendimiento de resistencia de fuerza en múltiples series de press de banca (PB) y entre grupos con diferentes niveles de fuerza muscular. Método: Después de las mediciones de la composición corporal y dos sesiones de familiarización, 30 hombres se sometieron a una prueba de press de banca de una repetición máxima (1RM). Posteriormente se realizaron cinco sesiones con intervalos que oscilaron entre 48 y 72 horas, diferenciándose únicamente en las condiciones experimentales. En todas las sesiones, los participantes realizaron el número máximo de repeticiones con el 85% de 1RM en tres series. En cuatro sesiones, la primera serie sirvió como preactivación, involucrando una única serie de 1RM. Estas sesiones variaron únicamente en el RI entre la preactivación (1x1RM) y la actividad principal, comprendiendo 3 series de repeticiones máximas con una carga del 85% de 1RM, con IR de 5, 10, 15 y 20 minutos. Una sesión sirvió como control sin actividad previa. Resultados: la carga de volumen aumentó significativamente en el IR de 10 minutos en comparación con el control, 15 y 20 minutos (p = 0,009, p = 0,003 y p < 0,001, respectivamente). El rendimiento (número de repeticiones) mejoró en el IR de 10 minutos en comparación con el control, 15 y 20 minutos en la primera serie, así como en el IR de 15 y 20 minutos en la segunda serie, y el control, 15 y 20 minutos de IR en el tercer set (p<0,05). Conclusión: 10 minutos de intervalo parecen ser la estrategia de actividad física ideal a adoptar para mejorar el rendimiento de resistencia de fuerza en PB.

Physical Education Professional graduated in 2006. Master Degree obtained in 2009 in the research line of Physical Activity and Aerobic Performance by Gama Filho University (CNPQ Scholarship - 131248 / 2009-0 - Capes 5 Concept). Master in Physical Activity Science with emphasis on the biodynamics of the exercise completed in 2017. PhD in Mental Health from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Concept Capes 5), where he was a Fellow of CAPES developing projects in the line of research on the influence of aerobic interval exercise in affective responses, mood, as well as acute changes in autonomic function in patients with bipolar and healthy disorders. He is currently a researcher at the Graduate Program of the Evangelical University of Goiás (UniEvangelica). Teaching theoretical and practical classes throughout Brazil.
