This research aims to analyze the satisfaction of elite paralympic athletes about their quality of life and the differences between the types of paralympic sports practiced. The sample consisted of 35 elite Chilean Paralympics athletes who compete in Boccia (BC), Football 7 (FT), and wheelchair rugby (WR). The WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire was used to measure the satisfaction that athletes had about their quality of life (QL), health status (HS), physical health (PhH), psychological health (PsH), social relations (SR), and relationship with the environment (E). No significant differences were found in the overall QL or satisfaction with HS according to the type of sport performed. However, significant differences were found in the PsH between BC and FT, with athletes from BC having higher scores. In conclusion, Paralympic athletes present a positive trend in the perception of their QL and satisfaction with their HS; however, they are not conditioned by the para-sport practice.
