Formative feedback: teachers' perceptions of its implementation and outcomes in the teaching and learning process in physical education

O feedback formativo é uma estratégia pedagógica essencial que facilita a aprendizagem ativa e reflexiva, permitindo aos alunos envolver-se criticamente no seu próprio processo educativo e aos professores ajustar eficazmente os seus métodos de ensino, promovendo um ambiente de aprendizagem contínua e adaptativa. Esta estratégia é especialmente relevante na educação física, onde o desenvolvimento das capacidades motoras e dos conhecimentos teórico-práticos é favorecido por uma abordagem dinâmica e centrada no aluno, permitindo uma aprendizagem mais personalizada e eficaz. Para tal, foi realizado um estudo qualitativo com desenho interpretativo, envolvendo uma amostra de 20 professores (11 homens e 9 mulheres) que trabalham na região de Valparaíso, no Chile. Foram utilizados inquéritos online e entrevistas semiestruturadas. O instrumento continha seis questões abertas, validadas pela opinião de especialistas. Os resultados sugerem que o feedback formativo é uma ferramenta fundamental na gestão dos processos de ensino e aprendizagem em educação física, contribuindo para a melhoria da motivação, do desempenho e da autonomia dos alunos. Embora existam barreiras contextuais que limitam a sua eficácia, os professores promovem estratégias para gerar ambientes de aprendizagem favoráveis para os alunos.
