Desenvolvimento e validação do respeito, equidade e inclusão (REI) na educação física infantil

Introdução. Os comportamentos antissociais entre adolescentes, como a violência e o bullying, estão associados a um risco acrescido de perturbações mentais ao longo da vida, diminuição do funcionamento social e maus resultados educativos.
Objetivo. Este estudo teve como objetivo desenvolver e validar um instrumento para medir o respeito, a equidade e a inclusão na educação física de crianças dos 8 aos 12 anos na Indonésia.
Metodologia. O instrumento de 15 itens, baseado na estrutura do COI, foi dividido em três subescalas que representam o respeito, a equidade e a inclusão. Cada item foi elaborado para ser adequado à idade e relevante através de consultas com especialistas em valores desportivos juvenis, psicologia infantil e pedagogia da educação física. Foi realizado um estudo piloto antes da validação com 223 crianças de várias escolas de Bandung, Indonésia. A Análise Fatorial Confirmatória foi utilizada para avaliar a validade de constructo, enquanto a fiabilidade foi avaliada pelo Alfa de Cronbach.
Resultados. Os resultados mostraram um valor de Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin de 0,707 e uma variância total explicada de 56,875%, confirmando a adequação do instrumento para a análise fatorial. O alfa de Cronbach de 0,649 indicou uma consistência interna aceitável entre os itens. A análise de género revelou diferenças significativas nos valores desportivos gerais, com as mulheres a pontuarem mais do que os homens (classificação média = 122,00 vs. 103,42, p = 0,031).
Discussão e Conclusões. Este instrumento validado serve como uma ferramenta prática para avaliar o respeito, a equidade e a inclusão (REI) na educação física, enfatizando a necessidade de abordar as diferenças de género nos valores sociais. Recomenda-se o alargamento do âmbito do instrumento, a exploração de impactos longitudinais e a integração de diversas metodologias para aprofundar a compreensão de como estes valores se manifestam e evoluem em diversos contextos.
