Need for training of physical education teachers from baja california

The objective of the work was to analyze the training needs of Baja Californian Physical Education teachers, for the detection of the contents that will be part of a training program, for this, the contents issued by the Ministry of Public Education were taken into account, those exposed in some Learning Unit Programs analyzed and by the updating needs expressed by the teachers who were surveyed. A descriptive methodology with a mixed approach was used. The survey used was validated through expert judgment, selecting 13 specialists through a biogram, where the validity of the questionnaire content was found by the Kendal coefficient, obtaining concordance values of 0.80 to 0.89 between the experts, in each of the 11 questions analyzed, the validity of the survey was found by the Delphi technique, obtaining as results of clarity and coherence a value of 84.6%, and relevance of 92.3% and the reliability of the questionnaire was 0.910, found by the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. The instrument was applied to 558 Baja Californian teachers, in a random non-probabilistic manner for convenience, obtaining the most revealing results that, in terms of training, 23% needed to be trained in all contents, 19% in evaluation and 16% in planning. Of the topics selected, by the surveyed teachers, where they most need training are evaluation and planning, they also mention Gamification, socio-emotional management and digital tools, topics that were not found in the reviewed documents.
