Resumo

Introdução: O formador é fundamental para o sucesso do programa de treino e atua como uma força motriz para conduzir a equipa na direção desejada. Por isso, os treinadores são muito importantes e devem compreender os jogadores, a criação do programa e também a implementação do programa no campo. O programa criado pelo treinador não deve priorizar e melhorar apenas as capacidades atléticas. Os treinadores devem também incutir valores que possam sustentar o espírito desportivo de cada indivíduo ou equipa.
Objectivo: Esta investigação visa descobrir se o papel dos treinadores na implementação dos valores sociais no desporto futebolístico é fundamental para o sucesso e se existe diferença no aumento dos valores sociais nos atletas de futebol.
Metodologia: Esta investigação utiliza um desenho de controlo pré-teste-pós-teste. Estes grupos de investigação eram constituídos por um grupo de tratamento (futebol estruturado intencionalmente) e por um grupo de controlo (futebol estruturado não intencionalmente) com 30 pessoas em cada grupo e foram selecionados através do método de amostragem intencional.
Resultados: Os resultados desta investigação indicam que o cálculo da hipótese através do teste t para amostras emparelhadas é <0,01, o que indica que existem resultados significativos quanto aos resultados dos valores sociais em atletas de futebol estruturantes e não estruturantes intencionais.
Conclusão: De acordo com este estudo, o papel dos treinadores na incorporação dos valores sociais nos programas de formação é fundamental para a eficácia da promoção dos valores sociais. Os benefícios sociais obtidos pelos atletas não são simplesmente obtidos de forma natural (naturalmente/automaticamente), mas também devem ser programados, implementados e avaliados pelo treinador.
