Desempenho de salto vertical em atletas com paralisia cerebral

Resumo

A principal diferença entre um esporte olímpico e um esporte paraolímpico é a estrutura de classificação dos esportes em que o atleta compete. O Sistema de Qualificação Paralímpica subsidia tal estrutura. Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar possíveis diferenças de altura em seis saltos verticais em atletas do Paraatletismo com paralisia cerebral das classes T35 a T38 para contribuir com o Sistema de Classificação Paralímpica. Participaram deste estudo 41 atletas, divididos em grupo experimental (trinta e cinco com paralisia cerebral T35 = 6; T36 = 10; T37 = 12; T38 = 7) e Grupo Controle. Os atletas foram testados utilizando o equipamento OptoJump Next (OJ). A sequência do protocolo da bateria do Salto Vertical incluiu salto de agachamento, salto unilateral esquerdo, salto unilateral direito, saltos duplos de sete saltos, saltos unilaterais esquerdos de sete saltos e saltos unilaterais de sete pernas direitos. salta. Foram encontradas diferenças significativas entre todas as turmas e o grupo controle (p<0,001). Este estudo indica que a bateria de testes de salto vertical não apenas identifica a elegibilidade dos atletas, mas também ajuda a atribuir diferentes classes de atletas com paralisia cerebral. Com o objetivo de desenvolver uma avaliação técnica, contribuindo para a aplicação de provas ao Sistema de Classificação do Atletismo Paralímpico.
