Como o bullying pode afetar a imagem corporal? Uma revisão sistemática para compreender a relação entre bullying, imagem corporal e transtornos alimentares.

Hoje em dia, o bullying tornou-se um dos maiores desafios enfrentados pelos professores em todo o mundo devido às consequências que tem nas vítimas a curto e longo prazo. As consequências mais comuns expressadas pelas vítimas de bullying são ansiedade, depressão, problemas de socialização, baixa autoestima e percepção negativa da imagem corporal. A perfeição da imagem corporal negativa tem uma relação muito forte com o desenvolvimento de transtornos alimentares. Devido a este fato, é crucial estudar a relação que o bullying e os transtornos alimentares podem ter. Utilizando o modelo PRISMA (Page et al., 2021), foi desenvolvida uma revisão sistemática para testar esta relação. Após pesquisa e análise de diferentes artigos, da amostra incluída e dos instrumentos utilizados, concluiu-se que ser vítima de bullying está relacionado com o desenvolvimento de um transtorno alimentar. Por esta razão, é essencial criar programas de prevenção nas escolas que ajudem professores, pais e diferentes profissionais a enfrentar ambos os problemas para manter os alunos seguros dentro e fora da sala de aula.
