Melhoria da variabilidade da frequência cardíaca em mulheres na pós-menopausa após treinamento físico combinado de curta duração

Resumo

O desequilíbrio do sistema nervoso autônomo cardíaco está associado a fatores de risco cardiovascular e resultados cardíacos desfavoráveis. A variabilidade da frequência cardíaca (VFC) é uma medida prática e reprodutível da função do sistema nervoso autônomo cardíaco. O treinamento físico promove ajustes positivos na VFC. No entanto, os resultados de intervenções anteriores com exercícios na VFC permanecem ambíguos. Portanto, este estudo teve como objetivo investigar os efeitos do treinamento físico combinado de curta duração sobre a variabilidade da frequência cardíaca em mulheres na pós-menopausa. 34 mulheres entre 50 e 80 anos, com pelo menos 12 meses de pós-menopausa, foram divididas em grupo controle (CON) e grupo de treinamento físico (EX). Os participantes do grupo de exercícios foram submetidos a um programa combinado de exercícios aeróbicos, de força, flexibilidade e equilíbrio de 2 semanas. A VFC foi registrada por meio do aparelho Actiheart, antes e após a última intervenção de exercício na posição sentada. Observou-se que os principais efeitos de tempo e grupo foram significativos no parâmetro SDNN (p tempo = 0,039; p grupo = 0,026). A análise post-hoc mostrou que houve aumento do SDNN apenas no grupo EX (POST: 48,79 ± 17,88 VS 44,54 ± 16,39, p = 0,055), mas não no grupo CON (POST: 35,55 ± 13,51 VS 33,17 ± 8,74, p = 0,288). A análise estatística dos demais componentes da VFC não mostrou resultados significativos (todos P > 0,05). Concluindo, 2 semanas de programa de treinamento combinado, que inclui exercícios aeróbicos, de resistência, equilíbrio e flexibilidade, melhoram a função autonômica cardíaca global em mulheres na pós-menopausa.
