Resumo

Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar: (1) o efeito de métodos de treino complexos e do treino em circuito com peso corporal no aumento da potência muscular das pernas e da força muscular dos braços de atletas de basquetebol e (2) a diferença na influência entre métodos de treino complexos e treino em circuito com o peso corporal no desempenho. Este tipo de investigação é uma experiência com o desenho de dois grupos de pré-teste e pós-teste. A amostra deste estudo foi de 70 atletas selecionados através de técnicas de amostragem aleatória. Os sujeitos foram divididos em 2 grupos de atletas, nomeadamente o grupo que recebeu o método de treino complexo de até 35 atletas e o grupo de atletas que recebeu o método de treino de peso corporal em circuito de até 35 atletas. Os instrumentos utilizados são para medir a força muscular das pernas, ou seja, o teste de salto vertical, e para medir a força muscular das mãos através de um dinamómetro expansivo. A técnica de análise de dados utilizada é um teste t para amostras independentes seguido de um teste t para amostras emparelhadas. Os resultados mostraram que: 1) Houve um efeito significativo dos métodos de treino complexos e do treino do peso corporal em circuito no aumento da potência muscular das pernas e da força muscular dos braços dos atletas de basquetebol com um valor de significância inferior a 0,05 ( p < 0,05). 2) Existe uma diferença significativa na influência entre os grupos dado o método de treino complexo e o treino do peso corporal em circuito no aumento da potência muscular das pernas e da força muscular dos braços dos atletas de basquetebol, demonstrou-se que o valor médio da potência muscular das pernas no grupo de atletas que recebeu o método de treino complexo é de 143,5 kg/seg, enquanto o valor médio da potência muscular das pernas no grupo do método de treino com o peso corporal em circuito é de 120,5 kg/seg com uma diferença média no pós-teste de 23 kg/seg. Além disso, o valor médio da força muscular do braço no grupo do método de treino complexo foi de 38,00 kg, enquanto o valor médio da força muscular da mão no grupo do método de musculação. 10 kg com uma diferença média pós-teste de 5,9. Assim sendo, pode-se concluir que o grupo de atletas de basquetebol que recebeu tratamento com o método de treino complexo apresenta uma melhor potência muscular nas pernas e força muscular nos braços em comparação com o grupo de treino com peso corporal em circuito.
