Fatores que influenciam o comportamento sedentário e o seu impacto nas competências psicomotoras da primeira infância

O comportamento sedentário pode afetar negativamente a coordenação motora e cognitiva na primeira infância. Este estudo explora os fatores que influenciam o comportamento sedentário no desenvolvimento psicomotor da primeira infância. Este método de investigação utiliza uma abordagem quantitativa com desenho de investigação e inclui uma amostra de 400 professores de educação pré-escolar. Os dados foram recolhidos através de questionários distribuídos pelo Google Forms. A análise dos dados foi realizada através de estatística descritiva e inferencial com abordagem de mínimos quadrados parciais (PLS). Os resultados da análise mostram que os fatores atividade física (β = -0,222), compreensão digital parental (β = -0,109), facilidades de apoio à atividade física (β = -0,080), envolvimento parental (β = -0,094), competência docente ( β = -0,128) e a competência digital do professor (β = -0,235) apresentam uma correlação negativa com o comportamento sedentário na primeira infância, o que significa que quanto maior o fator, menor o comportamento sedentário. O comportamento sedentário afeta negativamente a coordenação motora (β = -0,552) e a psicologia infantil (β = -0,545), aumentando o risco de problemas psicológicos como a ansiedade e a depressão. Enquanto isso, as características e a tecnologia da primeira infância não tiveram influência significativa no comportamento sedentário na primeira infância. A importância da sensibilização para o comportamento sedentário exige a criação de um programa de atividade física infantil que envolva os pais.
