Amarelinha. Efeitos motivacionais no ensino/aprendizagem e desempenho no salto unipodal em raparigas

Resumo

Introdução: Os jogos tradicionais são ferramentas valiosas para o desenvolvimento integral das crianças, podendo ter efeitos positivos no processo de ensino/aprendizagem no desempenho físico/motor, sendo útil avaliar seus alcances e limitações. Objetivo: Avaliar os efeitos motivacionais e o desempenho motor do salto com um pé em meninas que praticam sistematicamente o jogo da Amarelinha. Métodos: Pesquisa quase-experimental, estudando um grupo experimental que pratica sistematicamente a amarelinha (n=16) e um grupo controle (n=17) com meninas que realizam outras atividades físicas, ambos os grupos homogêneos com um nível moderado de atividade física. Foi estudado o desempenho de ambos os grupos em um Teste de Salto com um Pé (TSP), seu nível motivacional e a correlação linear entre motivação e desempenho no TSP. Resultados: Existem diferenças significativas no TSP a favor do grupo experimental (p=0.010), evidenciando melhor nível de força, coordenação e agilidade. O grupo experimental apresentou melhores médias no Teste Motivacional para realizar o TSP (20,13) em comparação ao grupo controle (14,06), existindo uma correlação linear positiva muito leve entre motivação e desempenho do salto com um pé para o grupo experimental, e uma correlação negativa muito leve para o grupo controle. Conclusões: As experiências motoras anteriores estimuladas por meio de jogos tradicionais como a amarelinha podem potencializar habilidades como o salto com um pé e suas capacidades determinantes e condicionais. A motivação para a prática de determinados jogos tradicionais, como a amarelinha, pode ter efeitos motivacionais indiretos associados a outras provas de desempenho motor, como o TSP.
