Qualidade do sono, saúde mental e atividade física em estudantes universitários da Amazônia peruana

No contexto do ensino universitário, a qualidade do sono, a saúde mental e a atividade física são variáveis fundamentais para compreender o bem-estar dos estudantes. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo determinar se existe relação entre qualidade do sono, saúde mental e atividade física de estudantes de uma universidade privada da Amazônia peruana. A amostra foi composta por 308 estudantes aos quais foram aplicados a Escala de Sono MOS, a escala DASS-21 e o Questionário Internacional de Atividade Física (IPAQ). Os resultados preliminares indicaram que a qualidade do sono dos estudantes era regular; A depressão e a ansiedade foram avaliadas em nível moderado, enquanto as manifestações de estresse foram avaliadas em nível leve. Da mesma forma, a prática de atividades físicas foi realizada de forma moderada. Além disso, constatou-se que a qualidade do sono estava significativamente correlacionada com depressão (rs = -0,343; p < 0,05), ansiedade (rs = -0,441; p < 0,05), estresse (rs = -0,280; p < 0,05) e atividade física (rs = 0,319; p < 0,05). Da mesma forma, foram relatadas correlações significativas entre atividade física e depressão (rs = -0,315; p < 0,05), ansiedade (rs = -0,265; p < 0,05) e estresse (rs = -0,323). . Concluindo, foi encontrada uma relação significativa entre qualidade do sono, saúde mental e atividade física em estudantes de uma universidade privada na Amazônia peruana.
