Efeito dos exercícios de Yogilates na confiança desportiva e no desempenho de algumas habilidades básicas da ginástica rítmica em alunas

Resumo

Introdução: O Yogilates é um tipo de exercício físico que integra o ioga somático e o Pilates num único sistema, com as suas próprias vantagens únicas.

Objectivo: Investigar o efeito dos exercícios de Yogilates em duas direcções: efeito psicológico (confiança desportiva) e efeito físico (elemento de salto) na ginástica rítmica entre estudantes universitárias. Metodologia: Utilizou-se uma abordagem experimental, com um desenho pré e pós-teste de dois grupos (controlo, experimental).

Resultados: O grupo experimental apresentou um aumento significativo da confiança desportiva de M = 77,25 para 93,65 (t(19) = 11,15, p = 0,001, d = 2,49). Foram registados grandes tamanhos de efeito para os seguintes saltos: Salto do Veado (t = 14,10, d = 3,15), Salto do Gato (t = 12,70, d = 2,84) e Polichinelo (t = 10,78, d = 2,41). As comparações pós-teste revelaram que o grupo experimental superou significativamente o grupo de controlo em todas as variáveis. Estes achados demonstram os benefícios físicos e psicológicos significativos dos exercícios de Yogilates.

Discussão: Numerosos estudos examinaram os efeitos do ioga e do Pilates separadamente, e os resultados destes estudos confirmam a eficácia dos exercícios tanto nos aspetos físicos como psicológicos. Este estudo confirma resultados anteriores, mas utiliza os efeitos de ambos os tipos de exercícios em conjunto, como um sistema independente.

Conclusões: Os exercícios de ioga, programados para 15 semanas, duas vezes por semana, em sessões de 35 minutos, mostraram mudanças positivas nos aspetos físicos e psicológicos das estudantes universitárias de Bagdade, Iraque.

Este estudo contribuiu para novas descobertas na área desportiva, utilizando exercícios de ioga que não tinham sido anteriormente estudados no desporto, especialmente na ginástica rítmica.
