Atividades do primeiro dia de aulas para promover a interação e envolver os alunos numa disciplina de gestão de um curso universitário de Educação Física: um estudo de caso

Resumo

Introdução: Este estudo analisa as perceções dos alunos de um programa universitário de educação física após a participação num primeiro dia de aulas com o objetivo de apresentar um tema de gestão e estimular a sua participação. Além disso, foram investigadas as suas preferências e rejeições em relação às atividades da primeira sessão com o objetivo de melhorar o engagement desde o início do curso.
Metodologia: O inquérito foi realizado durante dois anos letivos e consistiu em duas estratégias: atividade de entrevista recíproca e inquérito de preferências de atividade na primeira sessão. O planeamento da sessão inicial baseou-se em experiências e estudos anteriores que realçaram a importância da interação precoce na sala de aula. Após a sessão, os alunos responderam a perguntas abertas sobre a sua experiência e a atividade de entrevista recíproca em particular.
Resultados: A análise das respostas permitiu gerar uma lista de preferências e avaliar a perceção dos alunos sobre a atividade de entrevista recíproca. Os resultados indicaram uma avaliação positiva da atividade, destacando o seu papel na promoção da interação e da participação ativa no tema.
Conclusões: A sessão concebida facilitou a identificação de elementos-chave valorizados pelos alunos e revelou-se eficaz na promoção do envolvimento. Estas descobertas podem contribuir para o redesenho do programa da disciplina, otimizando as estratégias de ensino em edições futuras.
