Meta-revisão do papel da Educação Física na melhoria do bem-estar social e da equidade entre os jovens indonésios

Introdução: Os jovens indonésios devem ser preparados para contribuir para a promoção do bem-estar social, da equidade e da justiça, mas esta preparação requer a Educação Física (EF), como um desenvolvimento integral da criança, para além dos limites da sala de aula, e é consistente com o 4º Objectivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da UNESCO.
Objectivo: O objectivo deste artigo é considerar o potencial transformador da EF em relação à inclusão social, saúde emocional e equidade para todos os jovens, particularmente para aqueles de grupos marginalizados.
Metodologia: Foi utilizado um método de revisão de âmbito para pesquisar sistematicamente literatura proveniente de diversas fontes fidedignas, como revistas com revisão por pares e relatórios de organizações de renome, como a UNESCO e a OMS, destacando o impacto da EF na equidade social e no bem-estar dos jovens.
Discussão: Os resultados mostram que as atividades de EF inclusivas podem promover o desenvolvimento de objetivos partilhados, a resiliência e a inteligência emocional. No entanto, as disparidades de género e as restrições sociais na acessibilidade impedem a participação das raparigas, e as crianças de comunidades vulneráveis são deixadas para trás. Para inverter esta tendência, trabalhamos a nível comunitário e utilizamos metodologias de ensino com perspetiva de género.
Conclusão: A Educação Física é identificada como um importante agente de transformação social e de capacitação dos jovens na Indonésia na meta-revisão. Enfrentar os desafios sistémicos através de currículos inclusivos, preparação dos professores e fornecimento e acesso equitativo a recursos ajudará todos os jovens a aproveitar os benefícios da atividade física, promovendo uma sociedade mais equitativa.
