Dinâmica de rede e tipos dominantes de discurso de ódio em conversas do Twitter durante jogos de futebol profissional

Introdução: O Persib é um dos clubes de futebol mais populares da Indonésia e tem uma forte base de fãs. No entanto, isso não o impede de ser exposto a opiniões negativas durante as suas competições.
Objectivo: Este estudo procura descrever as características estruturais das redes e identificar os tipos dominantes de discurso de ódio durante um jogo do Persib no Twitter.
Metodologia: Esta pesquisa empregou uma abordagem de métodos mistos em duas fases: netnografia digital com análise de redes sociais e análise de conteúdo temática de 413.688 tweets durante o evento desportivo da Liga 1.
Resultados: Os resultados deste estudo indicam que o Persib é altamente vulnerável ao discurso de ódio dos adeptos durante as suas competições. De acordo com a análise, os discursos de ódio mais frequentes foram insultos, rudeza, acusações, ameaças, sátiras e críticas.
Discussão: Este discurso de ódio é dirigido aos jogadores, treinadores e direção do Persib. O discurso de ódio dirigido ao Persib foi expresso predominantemente nas línguas locais ou sundanês. Os tópicos de discurso de ódio estavam relacionados principalmente com a condução da partida, o desempenho dos jogadores, o sistema de bilheteira, a gestão e a transmissão da partida, que foi considerada abaixo do padrão.
Conclusões: Estas descobertas permitem uma avaliação da gestão do Persib e estabelecem as bases para o desenvolvimento de estratégias contra o discurso de ódio no Twitter. Por conseguinte, o Persib deve considerar o discurso de ódio sofrido como urgente e lidar com ele de imediato, pois pode ameaçar a sua imagem.
