Criticidade do jogo no futebol juvenil masculino: efeitos situacionais e relacionados com a idade no período de golos em campeonatos nacionais portugueses

Resumo

Pesquisas que cruzem os efeitos das variáveis ​​situacionais com a análise temporal dos gols marcados no futebol são escassas, principalmente no futebol juvenil. Assim, o presente estudo teve como objetivo (1) analisar os efeitos do local da partida, status da partida, qualidade da equipe, criticidade do gol e faixa etária nos períodos de jogo em que os gols são marcados no futebol juvenil masculino e (2) examinar se a idade grupo (sub-17, sub-19 e sub-23) influencia o surgimento de momentos críticos em jogos do campeonato nacional português. A amostra foi composta por 2.591 golos marcados nos campeonatos nacionais portugueses de sub-17, sub-19 e sub-23 durante a época 2019/2020. Os testes de qui-quadrado revelaram que o local da partida, o status da partida, a criticidade do gol e a faixa etária foram significativamente associados ao período de pontuação do gol. Durante as primeiras partes, mais gols foram marcados (1) jogando em casa, (2) quando as equipes estavam empatadas ou perdendo por um gol (circunstâncias críticas) e (3) pelas equipes Sub-17. Um modelo de regressão logística multinomial revelou que as chances de gol no sexto período (vs o primeiro) diminuíram significativamente ao jogar em casa, e nas partidas de Sub-17 e Sub-19. As equipas sub-23 foram mais propensas a marcar no último período, independentemente da criticidade do golo. No entanto, o efeito da interação qualidade da equipe x faixa etária sugere que as equipes sub-17 e sub-19 são mais propensas a pontuar em períodos de jogo posteriores quando a habilidade da equipe é equiparada. Esses achados permitem que os treinadores melhorem a preparação tática, física e psicológica para jogos competitivos juvenis, dependendo da faixa etária alvo.
