Determinantes do estado nutricional, desempenho de aprendizagem e atividade física dos alunos: um estudo transversal na cidade de Jayapura, Papua, Indonésia

Resumo

O aproveitamento ideal da aprendizagem é muitas vezes obtido através do consumo de alimentos nutritivos e equilibrados, que previnem estados nutricionais deficientes. Isto é particularmente relevante para estudantes do ensino secundário com idades compreendidas entre os 12 e os 15 anos, que são mais propensos à desnutrição. Portanto, este estudo teve como objetivo investigar os determinantes do desempenho de aprendizagem dos alunos com base no estado nutricional, conhecimento nutricional, alimentação dos alunos, atividade física e interesse em aprender. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de correlação transversal. Trezentos e cinquenta estudantes do ensino médio do município de Jayapura, província de Papua, Indonésia, participaram deste estudo. A amostra do estudo foi retirada pelo método de amostragem acidental. Os dados primários (conhecimento nutricional, dieta, atividade física, interesse em aprender, estado nutricional e resultados de aprendizagem) e dados secundários foram obtidos de fontes relevantes e analisados ​​por meio de análise de distribuição de frequência e testes de análise estatística de caminhos. Os resultados mostraram o efeito indireto das variáveis ​​exógenas sobre as variáveis ​​endógenas, onde o conhecimento nutricional e a alimentação dos estudantes influenciaram o estado nutricional (valor de p = 0,001), mas a atividade física não teve impacto (valor de p = 0,167). Enquanto isso, o efeito direto das variáveis ​​exógenas sobre as variáveis ​​endógenas mostrou que o conhecimento nutricional, o interesse pela aprendizagem e o estado nutricional influenciaram o desempenho dos alunos (valor de p = 0,001). Portanto, o estado nutricional desempenha um papel importante na determinação do desempenho de aprendizagem dos alunos. O conhecimento nutricional e a dieta dos alunos afetam indiretamente o desempenho da aprendizagem através do estado nutricional. O estado nutricional, o conhecimento nutricional e o interesse em aprender afetam diretamente o desempenho de aprendizagem dos alunos do ensino médio. É importante melhorar o estado nutricional através do conhecimento nutricional e também da dieta dos alunos, para que eventualmente isso melhore o desempenho da aprendizagem.
