Modelo de educação desportiva versus ensino tradicional em Educação Física no Ensino Secundário: uma revisão sistemática e meta-análise

Resumo

Introdução: A educação física no ensino secundário necessita de modelos que promovam a motivação, a satisfação das necessidades psicológicas básicas e o envolvimento dos alunos.

Objectivo: Esta revisão examinou se o Modelo de Educação Desportiva produziu resultados mais favoráveis ​​do que o ensino tradicional no ensino secundário.

Metodologia: Foram pesquisados ​​estudos revistos por pares, publicados entre 2016 e 2026, nas bases de dados Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar e SPORTDiscus. Os estudos elegíveis compararam o Modelo de Educação Desportiva com o ensino tradicional, a instrução direta ou outras abordagens centradas no professor. O risco de viés foi avaliado através de ferramentas específicas. As meta-análises de efeitos aleatórios foram realizadas utilizando o g de Hedges.

Resultados: Onze estudos cumpriram os critérios de inclusão. Seis foram incluídos na meta-análise sobre motivação. O efeito agrupado favoreceu o Modelo de Educação Desportiva após a intervenção (g = 0,95; IC 95%: 0,59 a 1,31), embora a heterogeneidade tenha sido elevada. Após a exclusão de Baş e Cuevas et al., o efeito manteve-se significativo e a heterogeneidade diminuiu. A análise principal da satisfação das necessidades psicológicas básicas incluiu dois estudos. Os resultados foram favoráveis ​​ao Modelo de Educação Desportiva com DerSimonian-Laird, mas não foram significativos com Paule-Mandel e Hartung-Knapp.

Discussão: As evidências sobre o engagement foram limitadas. Dois estudos reportaram mudanças positivas dentro do grupo, mas nenhuma vantagem clara em relação ao ensino tradicional.

Conclusões: O Modelo de Educação Desportiva parece promissor para os resultados motivacionais, enquanto as evidências sobre a satisfação das necessidades psicológicas básicas e o engagement são ainda preliminares.
