Efeito do treino com sobrecarga excêntrica no desempenho da fase concêntrica em exercícios de força. Uma revisão sistemática

Resumo

Introdução: o treino com carga excêntrica acentuada (AEL) é uma nova metodologia de treino de força que visa gerar uma potencialização sobre a fase concêntrica do exercício. No entanto, os seus efeitos ainda não são claros.
Objectivo: esta revisão teve como objectivo analisar o treino de carga excêntrica acentuada sobre as variáveis ​​de força, velocidade e potência da fase concêntrica em exercícios resistidos tradicionais.
Metodologia: foi realizada uma pesquisa sistemática da literatura científica em diferentes bases de dados. Treze estudos foram incluídos seguindo critérios de inclusão estabelecidos. A qualidade dos estudos foi avaliada seguindo a escala STROBE.
Resultados: a avaliação média foi de 15,8 valores. Os resultados alteram-se consoante o protocolo e o exercício realizado.
Discussão: a força foi a variável menos estudada e, de um modo geral, o treino de carga excêntrica acentuada melhorou a fase concêntrica. No entanto, alguns estudos não apreciaram esta melhoria. Em comparação com os exercícios de resistência dos membros superiores, as variáveis ​​de velocidade e potência foram potenciadas através do treino AEL em exercícios de resistência dos membros inferiores. No entanto, alguns resultados indicam que determinadas variáveis ​​do protocolo podem ter um impacto negativo na fase concêntrica do exercício.
Conclusões: embora alguns estudos mostrem um potencial efeito com a sobrecarga durante a fase excêntrica, pesquisas futuras devem analisar o papel de diferentes variáveis ​​nos protocolos de treino AEL.
