Prevalência de traumatismos ortopédicos entre trabalhadores de escritório e manuais: um estudo comparativo

Antecedentes: Empregados e trabalhadores manuais suelen quejarse um diário de posturas incómodas e agotadores devido à fuga pessoal, especialmente nas universidades públicas.
Objectivo: Estudar a relação entre os músculos musculoesqueléticos (TME) e as posturas laborais do pessoal de fisioterapia e os manuais de trabalho da Faculdade de Fisioterapia da Universidade de Suez, Egipto.
Métodos: Foi utilizado o Questionário Nórdico de Trastornos Musculoesqueléticos (NMQ) para avaliar os trastornos musculoesqueléticos do pessoal de fisioterapia. Asimismo, foi aplicado o Sistema de Avaliação de Posturas de Trabalho de Ovako (OWAS) para avaliar, analisar e categorizar as posturas laborais repetitivas em 100 pessoas, entre pessoal de fisioterapia e trabalhadores manuais. O método OWAS foi processado com o software WinOWAS e incluiu 16 posturas laborais. Os dados recopilados são analisados estadísticamente com o Excel e o SPSS.
Resultados: O NMQ indicou que o 61% do personal de fisioterapia e o 79% do personal de trabajadores manuais foram apresentados pela TME em pelo menos uma parte do corpo durante o último ano. Os traumatismos ortopédicos mais comuns são a dor lombar (73%), cervical (69%) e lombar (60%). Os resultados do OWAS classificaram 7 posturas (44%) na categoria 1 com 64 frequências, 6 posturas (38%) na categoria 2 com 30 frequências e 3 posturas (19%) na categoria 3 com 6 frequências.
Conclusão: As dores mais frequentes localizam-se na zona lombar entre o pessoal de fisioterapia e no corpo entre os trabalhadores manuais. A postura de trabalho 4222 do OWAS (categoria 3) mostrou uma correlação altamente significativa com os músculos músculo-esqueléticos lombares e uma correlação parcial com os músculos músculo-esqueléticos cervicais. Simismo, as posturas de trabalho 2221 e 2222 (categoria 2) correlacionaram-se significativamente com os músculos musculoesqueléticos lombares e cervicais.
