A pandemia da COVID-19 é um período memorável e desafiador para a população mundial, especialmente para os atletas. A capacidade de treinar ao ar livre e de se reunir em grupos foi severamente restringida e muitas vezes proibida, levando a efeitos adversos. Os atletas Kabaddi de Bali, na Indonésia, foram alguns dos mais afetados. Este grupo tinha potencial para fornecer campeões à seleção nacional. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a resistência muscular do braço de atletas Denpasar kabaddi antes e durante a pandemia. Esta pesquisa é de natureza descritiva-quantitativa e utilizou amostragem proposital, da qual participaram 15 atletas de base. O teste de resistência consistiu em fazer flexões por um minuto. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente para determinar o nível médio de resistência muscular do braço dos atletas. Os resultados indicaram que antes da pandemia, 100% dos atletas apresentavam boa resistência muscular dos braços. Durante a pandemia, porém, apenas 5 dos 15 atletas (33,33%) mantiveram um bom nível, enquanto 10 atletas caíram para um nível médio. O estudo concluiu que a resistência muscular do braço dos atletas kabaddi masculinos de Denpasar diminuiu durante a pandemia de COVID-19 em média 9,33 vezes por minuto.
