Estudo longitudinal sobre o desenvolvimento da velocidade, potência explosiva das pernas, resistência aeróbica e capacidade técnica de jovens jogadores de futebol em categorias talentosas e não talentosas: implicações para a identificação de talentos?

Este estudo longitudinal teve como objetivo avaliar o desenvolvimento e as diferenças de velocidade, potência explosiva das pernas, resistência aeróbica e habilidades técnicas entre jovens jogadores categorizados como talentosos e sem talento. Um total de 44 jogadores entre 11 e 14 anos, que treinaram em clube amador, foram classificados em grupos talentosos (n = 23) e não talentosos (n = 21). Além disso, as habilidades físicas e técnicas foram medidas ao longo de 1 ano de treinamento em 3 intervalos, a saber, T0 (janeiro), T1 (julho) e T2 (dezembro). Os resultados mostraram que a velocidade, a força explosiva das pernas, a resistência aeróbica e as habilidades técnicas aumentaram em jogadores talentosos e não talentosos em 10,23% e 15,18%, 11,27% e 11,07%, 15,88% e 14,85%, bem como 11,71% e 9,51%, respectivamente. De acordo com as observações, jogadores talentosos demonstraram ênfase em movimentos dinâmicos, mudanças de direção e habilidades técnicas essenciais durante o período de treinamento. Em contraste, os jogadores sem talento priorizaram a velocidade em detrimento de outros componentes no futebol.
