Este estudo busca enfatizar a importância do treinamento resistido para melhorar o bem-estar físico de estudantes universitários. A aptidão cardiovascular, a composição corporal e a força muscular são cruciais para a saúde geral, principalmente entre estudantes universitários, impulsionando a motivação para este estudo. O estudo envolveu 42 estudantes universitários que foram pesquisados por meio de instrumentos padronizados para avaliar sua participação em atividades de treinamento de resistência e indicadores de saúde física autorreferidos. Os pesquisadores realizaram estudos de correlação para explorar as conexões entre a frequência e a duração do exercício resistido e a aptidão cardiovascular, a composição corporal e a força muscular. O desenho do estudo envolveu distribuição de pesquisas, coleta de dados sobre indicadores de saúde física e análise estatística para identificar correlações. Os resultados do estudo mostram que existem fortes ligações positivas entre a frequência e a duração do treino de resistência e as melhorias na aptidão cardiovascular e na força muscular entre estudantes universitários. No entanto, não foram encontradas correlações notáveis entre o índice de massa corporal e a capacidade de fazer abdominais. Estas descobertas destacam as vantagens potenciais do treinamento de resistência regular na melhoria de diversas áreas da saúde física neste grupo específico. Este estudo é importante para treinadores, profissionais de fitness e estudantes universitários. Destaca-se a importância de incorporar o treinamento resistido nos regimes de exercícios de estudantes universitários para melhorar seu bem-estar físico. Os treinadores podem capacitar os alunos a melhorar seu bem-estar geral, enfatizando os benefícios dos exercícios resistidos e oferecendo conselhos personalizados. Esta investigação aumenta ainda mais o conhecimento existente sobre a importância do treino de resistência em ambientes universitários, fornecendo sugestões práticas para intervenções de treino.
