Análise em rede da dinâmica ofensiva numa equipa portuguesa de futebol da primeira divisão: insights da época 2020-2021

Introdução: A análise de redes tem vindo a ganhar cada vez mais atenção, uma vez que fornece uma estrutura para identificar comportamentos coletivos e individuais dentro das equipas de futebol.
Objectivo Este estudo teve como objectivo analisar as acções ofensivas que resultaram em remates através da análise de redes numa equipa portuguesa da Primeira Divisão durante a época 2020-2021.
Metodologia: As 34 partidas foram codificadas no software Angles®. As ações ofensivas foram definidas como sequências que começavam com uma recuperação de bola e terminavam com um remate. Foram construídas matrizes de adjacência para cada partida e abordagens macro e micro analíticas foram empregues para examinar as diferenças entre as duas metades da época.
Resultados: A análise identificou 914 interações dentro da equipa, sendo o jogador 14 (médio) e o jogador 2 (avançado) os principais contribuintes, especialmente nas métricas de rede de micronível, como o prestígio da nota (passes recebidos) e a centralidade da nota (passes efetuados). A análise estatística não revelou diferenças significativas nas métricas da rede, incluindo a densidade (W = 95, p = 0,0912) e o coeficiente de agrupamento (W = 112, p = 0,2689), entre o meio da época.
Discussão: Estas descobertas fornecem informações valiosas para os profissionais que procuram reconhecer padrões de jogo e otimizar a dinâmica da equipa. A identificação dos principais jogadores permite aos treinadores elaborar exercícios de treino específicos, melhorar as funções individuais e avaliar melhor as ameaças e vulnerabilidades da equipa adversária.
Conclusões: As métricas de rede oferecem uma compreensão abrangente da dinâmica da equipa, particularmente na identificação de atores-chave nas ações ofensivas.
