Relação entre os fatores motivacionais e os papéis funcionais escolhidos pelos estudantes voluntários em competições desportivas

Introdução: O papel crescente do movimento voluntário no âmbito desportivo realça a importância de uma distribuição eficaz dos papéis funcionais entre os voluntários, com base na motivação e nas competências.
Objectivo: Este estúdio tuvo tem como objectivo identificar a relação entre os factores motivacionais e os papéis funcionais eleitos pelos estudantes voluntários em competições desportivas.
Metodologia: A investigação envolveu 252 estudantes voluntários de sete universidades que participaram como voluntários em eventos desportivos nos últimos anos. Os dados foram compilados através de uma consulta online baseada numa versão adaptada do Volunteer Functions Inventory (VFI), complementada com questões adicionais sobre a experiência voluntária e a satisfação.
Resultados: A análise estadística revelou diferenças significativas nos fatores motivacionais entre os grupos (p < 0,001) e confirmou uma correlação entre a linha da motivação com a seleção do papel e os níveis de satisfação (rs = 0,45–0,58). Além disso, foi encontrada uma correlação entre a especialização académica e a eleição do papel (V = 0,30–0,34). Observou-se uma tendência para a profissionalização, com um aumento da proporção de voluntários especializados de 12,3% a 67,8% à medida que acumula experiência.
Discussão: Os hallazgos estão on-line com investigações prévias sobre a atribuição de funções no voluntário e sugerem que as estratégias de atribuição baseadas na motivação podem melhorar a participação e a satisfação dos voluntários. Estes resultados contribuem para a otimização das práticas de gestão voluntária em eventos desportivos.
Conclusões: Uma abordagem diferenciada na atribuição de funções, que tenha em conta a especialização, experiência e motivação dos estudantes, é fundamental para melhorar a eficácia dos programas de voluntariado em eventos desportivos.
