Efeitos de um período de sentrenamiento de quatro semanas na composição corporal e rendimento físico de jovens futbolistas chilenos

Resumo

Introdução: O Futebol é um desporto que evoluiu notoriamente, transformando-se num jogo que combina competências técnicas e táticas com uma elevada exigência física.

Objectivo: Analisar os efeitos de um período de férias de quatro semanas na composição corporal e no rendimento físico de jovens futbolistas chilenos

Metodologia: Estudo transversal e de tipo descritivo-comparativo. A exposição foi composta por 48 jovens futbolistas chilenos (16,6±6 anos). Mediu o peso corporal, a tala, os perímetros corporais e as pregas cutâneas. Foi calculada a percentagem de massa muscular, gordura corporal e o pico de aceleração da velocidade de crescimento (APVC). Para o desempenho físico, avalia-se o sprint de 10m, 20m e 30m, teste 505, cambalhota horizontal e contramovimento (CMJ), e o consumo máximo de oxigénio (V02máx) com o teste de resistência intermitente 30-15IFT.

Resultados: verificam-se aumentos significativos do peso corporal, dos perímetros, das camadas cutâneas e da gordura corporal (p<0,01). Por outro lado, no desempenho físico foi apresentado um aço significativo nas tentativas de salto horizontal, teste 505 e VO2máx (p<0,01).

Discussão: Os resultados obtidos com estudos anteriores que detetaram aumentos de peso corporal e adiposidade em jovens futbolistas, bem como nas baixas reportadas no VO2máx e agilidade em futbolistas adultos.

Conclusões: após um período de férias de quatro semanas, os jovens futbolistas apresentam aumentos significativos no peso corporal e no tejido graso, juntamente com perdas no salto horizontal, teste 505 e VO2máx.
