O treino de competências psicológicas baseado na avaliação grupal diminui a ansiedade competitiva e melhora o desempenho atlético nos estudantes deportistas

Resumo

Introdução: A ansiedade competitiva é um desafio psicológico frequente entre os estudantes deportistas e pode afetar a estabilidade do desempenho em contextos desportivos educativos. Embora o Treino em Competências Psicológicas (PST) seja utilizado para melhorar a regulação emocional e o desempenho, a sua aplicação através do aconselhamento em grupo é pouco estudada em programas escolares e universitários.

Métodos: Este estúdio examinou a eficácia do PST com base na avaliação de grupo para reduzir a ansiedade competitiva e melhorar o desempenho desportivo em estudantes deportistas. Foi implementado um projeto quase experimental de pré-pós-teste com grupo de controlo, com 75 estudantes deportistas participantes num treino desportivo organizado. O grupo experimental recebeu uma intervenção do PST baseada no aconselhamento em grupo durante seis semanas, enquanto o grupo de controlo continuava com o seu treino habitual. A ansiedade competitiva foi avaliada pela Escala de Ansiedade Desportiva-2, e o desempenho desportivo através de um índice de desempenho padronizado. Os dados foram analisados ​​pela ANCOVA.

Resultados: O grupo experimental apresentou níveis significativamente mais baixos de ansiedade competitiva e um desempenho desportivo significativamente mais elevado do que o grupo de controlo. Os tamanhos do efeito foram elevados em ambos os resultados, o que indica benefícios psicológicos e de desempenho relevantes.

Conclusão: O PST baseado na avaliação de grupo constitui uma intervenção psicológica eficaz, acessível e prática para os estudantes deportistas. A sua integração em programas desportivos educativos pode fortalecer a preparação psicológica, favorecer a regulação emocional e melhorar a estabilidade do desempenho em contextos competitivos.
