Oscilação do arco e a sua relação com a precisão em tiradores de elite de arco recurvo júnior

Introdução e objetivo: A estabilidade do arco antes do lançamento é um fator chave para a precisão; No entanto, a sua relação com a força do membro superior em arqueiros juniores de elite apenas foi descrita. O objetivo deste estudo foi quantificar a oscilação triaxial do arco e examinar a sua associação com o rendimento de tiro e a força isométrica máxima de pressão manual.
Metodologia: Mediante um sistema Vicon de 8 câmaras, foi registada a cinemática em 3D para avaliar o deslocamento do arco e a variabilidade da mão de tiro durante um intervalo padronizado anteriormente ao sulte em arcos de arco recurvo.
Resultados: A oscilação longitudinal foi identificada como o determinante cinematográfico mais consistente do desempenho, mostrando uma grande associação negativa com a pontuação. Simismo, verificou-se uma correlação negativa quase perfeita entre a pontuação média e a área de agrupamento (método do círculo envolvente mínimo). Enquanto a força de pressão manual não esteve associada ao desempenho, a força de abertura do arco apresentou uma associação positiva de moderada a elevada com a pontuação, embora sem atingir significado estatístico para além da correção.
Conclusões: Estes hallazgos destacam o papel crítico da estabilidade longitudinal através da força bruta da mão para determinar a precisão do tiro em arqueiros juniores de elite.
