Introduction and objectives: Clinical simulation has become a learning resource in the training of physiotherapists, allowing them to acquire clinical skills and practical competencies in a safe and controlled environment. This study focused on analyzing technology-mediated Clinical Simulation training and its contribution to situated cognition for the professional practice of physiotherapists. Methods: A systematic search was carried out in high-impact databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect and Pubmed, in an observation window between 2012 and 2023, using the bibliometric model proposed by PRISMA. Results: 330 studies were identified, of which 244 records were excluded due to title, abstract and duplication, with 86 articles being eligible for full-text review, excluding 67 manuscripts due to thematic specificity, type of study and methodological quality, remaining for analysis. final 19 investigations with a significant sample of n=1126. As a result, we find the use of clinical simulation as a pedagogical potential, starting from the perspective of situated cognition, recognizing the student as the central axis and the teacher as a key mediator of the teaching and learning process. Conclusions: the authors conclude that as a solid interdisciplinary intervention becomes necessary in the provision of health services, interprofessional education, education with clinical simulation in the key of situated cognition, becomes an essential component to prepare future professionals. in physiotherapy and improve health care.
