Abstract

The purpose of this essay is to analyze from a critical perspective the relationship between the current of sociomotricity and the constitution of the subject in the disciplinary field of Physical Education as a field in identity tensions, recognizing the need for transformation of the pedagogical field and emphasizing the relevance of enhancing the formation of the different human dimensions based on a comprehensive understanding of education and of the human being himself. In this sense, the reflection argues that current school Physical Education continues to be mediated by generally instructional logics, although it recognizes that it should be rethought in the context of a truly comprehensive education, which, besides being complex, focuses on the constitution of the subject aiming at empowerment, emancipated citizenship, protagonist participation, co-responsibility, collaborative exercise in all the dynamics of the pedagogical act, coexistence, among other aspects that point and aim at a critical formation of girls, boys and adolescents from the motor action.
