Análise das Políticas de Formação e Desenvolvimento Desportivo de Alto Rendimento na Província de Sumatra do Sul, Indonésia

Resumo

Introdução: A província de Sumatra do Sul foi designada como um dos centros nacionais de conquistas desportivas, graças ao seu significativo potencial em infraestruturas, recursos humanos e histórico na realização de eventos desportivos nacionais e internacionais. No entanto, a implementação de políticas nesta área enfrenta ainda diversos obstáculos estruturais, sistémicos e culturais.

Objectivo: Esta investigação procura analisar as políticas de treino e desenvolvimento do desempenho desportivo na província de Sumatra do Sul no contexto da implementação do National Grand Sports Design (DBON).

Metodologia: Esta investigação utiliza uma abordagem de métodos mistos com recolha de dados online e presencial através de questionários, entrevistas, observações e estudos documentais. Este método combina a análise quantitativa para medir a eficácia das políticas, utilizando indicadores ISP e ESC, e análise qualitativa para melhor compreender o contexto da implementação das políticas através da triangulação de dados.

Resultados: Os resultados mostraram que os pilares com pontuações mais baixas foram os Fundamentos de Iniciação e Participação (26,3%), refletindo um baixo envolvimento comunitário, e o Apoio Financeiro (31,2%), devido à falta de dotação orçamental para o desporto. Outros pilares, como a Governação (39,7%), o Desempenho/Identificação de Talentos (39,2%) e a Excelência/Apoio Pós-Carreira (38,7%), indiciam fragilidades na coordenação institucional, nos sistemas de identificação de talentos e no apoio à carreira dos atletas.

Conclusões: A conclusão deste estudo é que a política de promoção e desenvolvimento do desempenho desportivo na província de Sumatra do Sul apresenta pontuações baixas em todos os nove pilares do treino de desempenho desportivo, com uma pontuação média por pilar abaixo dos 50%.
