O efeito do treino com bandas elásticas e halteres e a moderação da coordenação óculo-manual nos resultados de lançamento de atletas de petanca

Resumo

Introdução: O problema da imprecisão nos lançamentos realça a importância do desenvolvimento de exercícios adaptados às capacidades físicas e à coordenação dos atletas.

Objectivo: O objectivo deste estudo é analisar o efeito de exercícios com bandas elásticas e halteres, bem como da coordenação óculo-manual, no desempenho de lançamento de jogadores de petanca.

Metodologia: A questão da imprecisão nos lançamentos realça a importância do desenvolvimento de exercícios adaptados às capacidades físicas e à coordenação dos atletas. Este estudo utilizou um desenho experimental fatorial 2×2 com agrupamento baseado no tipo de exercício e no nível de coordenação óculo-manual. Os instrumentos utilizados incluíram testes de coordenação óculo-manual e testes de desempenho de lançamento, enquanto a análise dos dados foi realizada através de testes de normalidade, homogeneidade e ANOVA fatorial 2×2.

Resultados: Os resultados mostraram que o tipo de exercício teve um efeito significativo no desempenho do lançamento (p = 0,008), sendo que o exercício com halteres proporcionou uma maior melhoria do que o exercício com bandas elásticas. A coordenação óculo-manual também teve um efeito significativo (p = 0,012), dado que os atletas com elevada coordenação obtiveram melhores resultados nos lançamentos. Além disso, verificou-se uma interação significativa entre o tipo de exercício e a coordenação óculo-manual (p = 0,037), indicando que a eficácia do exercício variou de acordo com o nível de coordenação.

Discussão: Estes achados enfatizam a importância de elaborar programas de treino personalizados de acordo com as características motoras individuais para otimizar a melhoria do desempenho nos lançamentos.

Conclusões: Em conclusão, o balanço com halteres é mais eficaz para atletas com elevada coordenação, enquanto as bandas de resistência são mais adequadas para atletas com baixa coordenação.
