Análise da correlação entre as competências pedagógicas dos professores e o espírito esportivo dos estudantes na educação física

Resumo

Introdução: Embora as competências pedagógicas dos professores sejam cruciais para apoiar o desenvolvimento do caráter e do espírito esportivo dos estudantes, poucos estudos examinaram diretamente essa relação.

Objetivo: Com base na importância das competências de ensino, este estudo tem como objetivo investigar a relação entre as competências pedagógicas dos professores e o espírito esportivo dos estudantes nas aulas de Educação Física.

Metodologia: Para explorar essa relação, o estudo utilizou um método correlacional envolvendo 105 estudantes. Os dados sobre as competências pedagógicas dos professores foram mensurados a partir de três aspectos: abertura, organização e encerramento da aula. Os dados sobre o espírito esportivo dos estudantes foram coletados por meio da Student Sportsmanship Scale in Physical Education (S3-PE), que inclui cinco indicadores: compromisso, convenções sociais, regras e arbitragem, adversários e abordagem negativa. Os dados foram analisados utilizando estatística descritiva e correlação de Spearman.

Resultados: A análise revelou uma correlação positiva e significativa entre as competências pedagógicas dos professores e o espírito esportivo dos estudantes. Especificamente, o aspecto “organização do ensino” apresentou a maior correlação com o espírito esportivo dos estudantes (ρ = 0,545), seguido de “encerramento do ensino” (ρ = 0,521) e “abertura do ensino” (ρ = 0,388). A correlação geral entre as competências pedagógicas e o espírito esportivo dos estudantes foi moderada (ρ = 0,569).

Discussão: Esses resultados sugerem que as competências pedagógicas dos professores podem ser um fator importante na formação do espírito esportivo dos estudantes. Consequentemente, os professores precisam implementar estratégias de ensino que incentivem o espírito esportivo por meio de diversas atividades de Educação Física.

Conclusões: Em síntese, as competências dos professores não apenas melhoram as habilidades físicas dos estudantes, mas também moldam atitudes e comportamentos de espírito esportivo que são benéficos para a vida cotidiana.
